We are a medium-sized business located outside of Philadelphia in a sleepy-town called Mullica Hill located in New Jersey. Our business, Hall of Fame Sports Memorabilia, specializes in the retail sale of all types of sports-related material with special emphasis in an authentic autographed professional sports jersey. We do sell, on a retail basis, other collectible items but our main emphasis has been sports-related.
Our market, demographically, includes age groups running the gamut. Basically, our third-party authenticated items entice young and old alike while our sports jerseys attract individuals in the 27 to 50 years-old age bracket.
Over the past several years, our business has grown substantially and we encountered several issues related to that growth. Getting professionally crafted jerseys became an increasingly more difficult task and caused the business to experience a period of limited growth. As the inability of our suppliers became more prevalent issues began to rise within our selling channels. These issues require immediate attention and a plan of action to address and resolve each concern.
During this limited growth period, we attempted to produce the products at our facility only to learn that our inexperience and over-exuberance provided unrealistic goals that had no semblance to reality. After losing a large amount of capital attempting to produce the product in the United States, we moved towards another outside supplier. That supplier produced adequately at first. Over time we became disappointed at the timeliness of delivery and the finished product which had diminished in quality. That domestic supplier failed miserably to meet deadlines and provided product well past the “needed-by” date.
While at that time it was quite disconcerting, that suppliers dilatory actions or inactions caused us to seek yet another supplier. WE have felt very fortunate, since day one, to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Wilson and his company. Since our partnership, Wilson has delivered in all aspects and has been a consummate professional in the handling and promotion of our account. I can state with a degree of certainty that the aspect of our business which interfaces with Wilson and his company would not have experienced the growth it has been it not for the cooperation and on-hands help provided by Wilson and his staff. Any entity which is thinking about or currently engaged in the sale of sports-related athletic wear or sports jerseys would have an ally in Wilson and his staff. Undoubtedly he is held in the highest regard and any vendor would do extremely well if Wilson and his staff were on the team.
